QTC offer private wine tours of the Central Otago regions of Gibbston and Bannockburn, which have gained international acclaim for their outstanding Pinot Noir and other varietals. Gibbston Valley, Amisfield, Chard Farm, Felton Road, Mt Difficulty, Peregrine and Akarua are just a few but there are dozens more to explore and can be combined with great local sightseeing, biking, activities and more. A driver/guide will take you on a tour of the region and show you the best of the sights, wine and food.
Normally a day wine touring will take 3-4 hrs if visiting just the Gibbston region, which is perfect for those new to the area perhaps with less time to spend and wanting to experience some of the iconic wineries such as Peregrine, Gibbston Valley and Chard Farm. For those with more time to spend, a tour including Bannockburn will normally be 5-6 hrs and can include places like Mt Difficulty, Felton Road, Akarua, Carrick, Domain Road and Wild Earth. Many more are available and we can tailor a trip to meet your requirements.
